Preliminary video 

This is my preliminary film, the film centres around an eccentric and sporadic man, who decides to randomly choose a room to enter. I tried to create a comedic atmosphere to add to the general 'light-hearted' atmosphere. However I have taken more knowledge from the filming of the preliminary film as opposed to the finished film. Mainly because of the experience I gained from filming and editing the preliminary video.   

Preliminary video evaluation

My preliminary film has many interesting elements which makes it captivating to watch, I have produced a presentation which documents the improvements which need to be made, the successful sections that excelled past my expectations, the ways in which I met the brief and the essential skills which i have learnt. I have decided to evaluate my preliminary film because it will provide my with vital information, I can use this information to make sure that my foundation portfolio project is professional and high quality.

Preliminary website

 I have included a link to the website I developed for my preliminary project. I was given the task of designing a school website using dream weaver, the website had to include items which I had found in my research. Furthermore the website had to include images of the school and a media studies page, complete with text and a working navigation bar. The websites that I researched helped me to develop  my school website. I used the codes and conventions that I discovered in my research to build a website with a professional and consistent house style. By clicking on the link below you can access my website.

This is a presentation which i produced to evaluate my preliminary project ( a school website). The presentation includes successful elements of the project, improvements which could be made, the ways in which I have met the brief and a description of the skills I have acquired while working on the task.

Hi,
welcome to my AS media foundation portfolio blog! This blog will cover all of the work I produce this year-that is part of my foundation portfolio. Furthermore before starting the portfolio I had to produce a piece of preliminary work, this work would dictate the project that I chose for my foundation portfolio. I chose to produce a website for my preliminary project (which I will upload), consequently after producing this project I decided that I wanted to focus on a different area of the syllabus. Therefore I chose to produce a short film for my foundation portfolio; this blog will contain the work that I produce leading up to the final short film and eventually the film itself.
